Q) How did you get started in this business?
A) I have always been interested in the inner workings of Property Management. When talking with a good friend of mine who is very close with the Plums, he let me know that they were hiring for an administrative position, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work for such a wonderful locally owned and operated business.

Q) What is your background?
A) I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana and in the Spring of 2020, I graduated from The University of Montana with a BFA in Acting from the School of Theatre & Dance.

Q) How long have you been a part of MBN?
A) I have recently signed up for MBN!

Q) What are you involved in outside of work?
A) Outside of work, I tend to find myself gravitating toward the stage. Being a theatre person at heart, I can never seem to stop myself for having all my extra time be filled with acting any chance I get! In the past, I have had the wonderful opportunity to perform on the stage at MCT, The University of Montana (both the Masquer and Montana stage) and the ZACC alongside wonderful small local production companies like MissCast Productions and Literal Garbage Fire Productions!

Q) Have you received any awards or certificates?
A) I have recently received a completion certificate for Bruno Friia’s Property Management Licensing course as well as my official Property Management License!

Q) What is the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?
A) “Why don’t you google it?” – Emily Witmer

Q) What is the one thing you wish you’d known before you started your journey to your current position? A) Overall, I was not expecting how difficult and how much problem solving is involved in this position and in the world of Property Management. However, this has easily become my favorite part of the job. Everyday comes with its own challenges and I really enjoy working with my team to come up with the best solution and plan.

Q) What “failure” of yours taught you the best lesson? What was that lesson?
A) I think failures are a wonderful way to do better and be better. No matter how big or small the “mistake” or “failure” is, you can always learn from it to be a better version of yourself. My biggest failure taught me to trust my instincts, not to doubt myself and to never be afraid to ask questions when I need to.
