MBN is a group that embraces diversity and focus. Our diversity shines through in our membership that includes savvy business professionals, determined small business owners, daring entrepreneurs and polished corporate leaders. So many times we don’t receive the pats on the back we deserve but not so in MBN! We love to recognize our members!
The Flying High Awards began in 2002, to celebrate the extraordinary women who have made significant contributions to the Missoula Businesswomen’s Network and our community. As of 2019, The MBN Awards Committee, chaired by the Past-President, has awarded almost 50 members with the Flying High Award.
Created by Kathy Schulte (MBN President 2005-2006) in 2006, the Missoula Businesswoman of the Year Award recognizes women who excel by promoting professional excellence for women, being an outstanding personal or business leader, promoting participation in MBN and participating in community, civic or other charitable organizations. The MBN Awards Committee, chaired by the Past-President, determines the recipient of the Missoula Businesswoman of the Year Award.
