We are pleased to announce that Megan Pfaff was elected on Wednesday, May 27th during the May General Meeting.

At the meeting, Megan said “Thank you for your support.I have been a member of MBN for 13 years and I have really enjoyed the years I have served on the board. I am excited for the opportunity to become even more involved as your president. MBN has been a huge part of my life since graduating from the University of Montana and joining Marketplace Media & Events with my mom, Linda Baumann. I am excited to bring my past MBN experience as well as my business, marketing and event planning background to help grow MBN’s future.”

Megan attended Hellgate High School and graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Psychology. She started Rock Against Racism while in college as a community volunteer program, raising funds and awareness for the YWCA. She also did volunteer work in the Dominican Republic teaching English to children and building homes with Habitat for Humanity. She’s involved with the Missoula Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Association as well as numerous non-profit organizations.

Megan has been a Partner at Marketplace Media and Events since 2006. Megan has lived in Missoula since 1993 and is raising two girls, Bailie 7 and Charlie 3, with her husband Matt. They love living in Missoula and relaxing at the family cabin in Seeley Lake.
